About Jason Gesser

Drawing on a background in professional football, Jason Gesser is a business strategist who owns and operates Grit Consulting. He emphasizes a data- and analytics-based approach in enabling sports companies to achieve consistent sales and revenue results. Jason Gesser possesses an MBA earned at Washington State University (WSU), where he previously excelled as the undergraduate varsity football team captain.

During his time at WSU, Mr. Gesser led the team to victory in the 2001 Sun Bowl, and to its fourth ever Rose Bowl appearance in 2003. He broke 13 school records, including greatest number of wins by a Cougars’ starting quarterback. These accomplishments as a first team All- American ultimately gained him a spot in the WSU Hall of Fame.

Building on his professional experience in the Canadian and Arena Football Leagues, Mr. Gesser also had an extensive career as a sports coach, serving as interim head football coach at the University of Idaho in 2012. He next held responsibilities as the University of Wyoming’s quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator. His responsibilities include training players in techniques, studying film, and implementing game plans.

From 2014 to 2018, Jason Gesser served as football broadcast analyst with Washington State University, providing color radio commentary and analysis across a variety of football media platforms.
